| PRODUCT DESCRIPTION CYRSTAL cement-based water insulation system provides a non-erosive, non-separading insulator which is resistant to mechanic influences and completely integrates into the surface onto which it is applied. It is used where long-lasting and definite water-proofing is required in areas such as concrete structures and floors. PRODUCT FEATURES The chemical agents in causes crystallization in capillary cracks and holes where water may anter. Although it ensures complete insulation it does nor prevent the surface from breathing. One week is required for water insulation to completely form. As it completely integrates with the surface it is also resistant to water pressure coming directly or indirectly. It protects concrete and construction metal form the affects of water. Is is non-toxic and resistant to pressurized water. APPLICATION AREAS It is definite solution for the insulation against direct or indirect water flow in water tanks, basements, pools, tunnels, substructures, concrete pipes, dams. METHOD OF APPLICATION The surface must be free of dirt, loose, particles, grease, paint, dust and other water resisting debris. Wide cracks and pitting should be repaired with REMİX-5. the surface should be wetted and kept wet during application. There must be no water accumulation in floor applications. For mixing, a ratio of 2.5 volume CRYSTAL to one volume water is carried out. For plaster applications this ratio is one volume CRYSTAL To 2 volumes sand. Water is added to this mixture until it reaches a plaster-like consistency. The prepared mixture is applied to the wetted surface with a suitable brush. The second coat is applied 3-4 hours later. Curing is very important during application. Throughout curing the surface must be kept wet and protected from the damaging affects of frost, windy and sunlight. Water may be pumped into tanks one day after application. If cover materials such as ceramics, stone tiles, tiling, etc. are to be fitted a ceramic adhesive should be applied while CRYSTAL is still damp. If covering is to be done on a finished CRYSTAL application, the surface must be cleaned with chemical cleaners (salt of spirit, washing soda, etc.) USAGE QUANTITY If it is using two times floor :1-2 kg/m2 If its coming opposite direction for water insulation :2 kg/m2 PACKING 25 Kg Plastic Barrel NOTE FOR SHIPMENT :shipping within 10 days after payment is made |
