MAKİM was founded in1993 to produce machine tools, machine parts and accessories, general machinery components and related mechanical parts and accumulate know-how in this field in Turkey. The company has the capacity to realize all steps in products and systems from design to production and after sale support. 25 % of the around 50 personnel are engineers of different disciplines. The established infrastructure of the company consists of all modes of production from machining to sheet metal processing, electronic production and final assembling.

İnvestment Casting

MAKİM Production Infrastructure;

Machining Workshop: In capacity and ability to produce machine tools with various sized machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines and others. In 1996-1997 two CNC controlled machining centers, one CNC controlled lathe and one NC jig bore machine were added to the machine park.

Sheet metal Processing Workshop: To do all processes in sheet metal processing with guillotine, eccentric presses, various kind of welding machines (MIG,TIG...) and other production tools are within our companies capacity.  Sheet metal cutting is especially done in CNC controlled punch and CNC controlled Lazer cutting machines.

Electronic Production and Assembling Workshop: Printed circuit board production is done in sub-contractors. Card assembling and soldering is done manuelly with soldering-iron. The electronic boards are tested with special apparatus and systems. Computers and oscilloscopes are in use.

Investment Casting: Besides our needs We are also servicing to the market with our investment casting productin line.

In 1999, MAKİM established a new cooperation with the company ELECTRONICA / INDIA to sell and service their products in Turkey as the representative of this group. Electronica is producing high-tech CNC controlled wire EDM machines and digital coordinat reading systems,
